Hiya everyone! Back to work today after 3 weeks off with flare in back. It was ok, I really paced myself and am lucky that my colleagues are so understanding. I had my back to work interview with one of the line managers who is a lovely bloke but always tells you the worst case scenario, he covers himself basically. I have to see him again next Tuesday to discuss my attendance, which apart from time off since September 09 of 27 days has been brilliant!!! Anyway, they are probably going to refer me again to occupational health again to see if my sick allowance can be increased. Ive got my union rep coming to the meeting with me. I know its all "hoops" that have to be jumped through, but when you have a doctors note and have been taking morphine for the pain, its fairly obvious that Im not swinging the lead like some do in our department!!

I explained to him that I had been told the first year after diagnosis was usually the worst in as much as its difficult sometimes to get the right levels of medication etc and that I was seeing my rheummy in 2 weeks so hopefully I will get more weird named drugs to take!!

Since Ive had the flares,, one at Christmas and the most recent one things dont seem to be improving. That sounds really irish doenst it!!?? But what Imean is that Im on 20mg metho and hydro and celebrex, if anything its getting worse!!

Anyway, off to bed soon, in work tomorrow and have managed to get Thursday off yippeee!!

Hope you are all ok out there and speak soon

lots of love
